Film grain overlays
Every grain plate here sits on a flat 50% grey base. That matters: in Overlay or Soft Light blend mode, 50% grey is invisible, so only the grain itself touches your photo. No colour shift, no contrast jump.
By film speed
Mono grain on 50% grey, sorted from the quietest to the loudest. Pick the speed that matches the light in your photo.

35mm film grain
Grain matched to 35mm stills film: black and white and colour, from slow to pushed.

Film formats
Grain sized for different film formats, from large sheet film to Super 8.

Colour and character
Colour grain, digital noise and plates with a mood of their own.

Vertical, square, 4K and print
The same grain in ready sizes: 9:16 for Stories and Reels, 1:1 for posts, 4K UHD and A4 at 300 dpi.

The plates are named the way film stock is: by speed. Low ISO means small, tight grain you notice only on a big print. High ISO and pushed plates are coarse and clumpy, like Tri-X shot at night and pushed two stops in the developer.
Colour plates add a light red, green and blue speckle, like a scanned colour negative. Use them on colour photos; use the mono plates on black and white or when you want grain without any colour cast.
Tip: grain looks most natural when it is slightly stronger in the shadows. Add the plate, set it to Overlay, then paint a soft mask that lets more grain through in the darker areas.
