Halftone overlays
Halftone is how printing presses fake grey with only black ink: small dots for light tones, big dots for dark. These PNGs carry the screen itself on a transparent background, so you can drop them on anything.
Dot screens
Classic round dots, flat or fading, from fine newspaper screens to big pop art dots.
Line and cross screens
Lines and hatching for an engraved or pen-drawn print look.
Square, stipple and white
Square dots, random stipple and white dots for dark designs.
White on transparent
White screens for dark designs. Keep them on Normal, or Screen them over dark photos.
Gradient plates fade from small to large dots, which works well as a vignette or a print-style edge. Flat plates give an even screen, good for poster backgrounds and comic-style fills.
Every screen is rendered at twice the final size and scaled down, so the dot edges stay clean instead of jagged.
